more... quota has a small number of seats/berths. Pooled Quota (PQ) is always charted at the originating station of the train. So a traveller commencing its jourmey from Starting station of a train will always be put under either General Quota or Pooled Quota with the exception of trains having Road Side (RS) quota for the intended station.
Once the Pooled Quota (PQ) seats are exhausted, Pooled Quota Waiting List (PQWL) starts as there is no Reservation Against Cancellation (RAC) provision in Pooled Quota. PQWL waiting will only clear if a confirmed ticket cancellation takes place.
