Sighting Boards

The most common kind of signal sighting board is a rectangular reflective board with a circle and two horizontal lines, yellow on black. This warns the driver of a signal ahead. The next signal should be visible from this point onwards, although in practice experienced drivers spot the signals well before the sighting boards are crossed.
