Hi all, Recently travelled in the so called one of the white elephants of IR "NZM ERS Durunto". Reached the NZM station pretty early some what around 9 hours before the departure of my train. Left Jaipur in the JP DEE Special train. . train came tp PF 7 at 9 pm and left on dot at 9:35pm. Thanks to IRI that i clicked the wrong button and found that my ticket has been automatically upgraded to AC 2 tier. A1 was the only 2 tier coach. The train was hauled by WAP 7 one of my fav engine.
Day 1:
One

bottle of water was supplied and the train was nicely scented and beddings were provided as the train left.
Upgradation:
SL to AC 3 tier: 20 passengers
AC 3 to AC 2 : 14 passengers
AC 2 to First AC : 10 passengers
----
Day 2:
Morning was woken up by the high cold in ac 2 tier... went to the ac mechanic and he increased the temp in the compartment by turning a knob. learnt how to increase and decrease the temp in the compartment.. ( Which turned out to be handy).. Had stopped at ratlam and WAP 7 was not up to the mark.Breakfast was good consisting of the usual menu:
Soup was served around 11:45 and Lunch by 1230 hrs. Lunch was extremly superb and Haldirams Soyan papdi was the dessert. . Tea was served when the train had left Vasai Road. was tasty and stomach full... Dinner was served around 2000hrs and included 4 rotis which made the stmach full and good and tasty... Slept at 2300 hrs. One bottle water was served.
---
Day 3:
Morning tea was served and breakfast was served before mangalore Jn... the egg omplete was made in the train pantry itself. Morning newspaper was issued after mangalore. The pantry waala came and asked me if i was getting down at CLT or ERS. I told him that if the train reached CLT around 1330 i will get down at CLT to catch Jan Shatabdi. So Lunch was served to all who get down at CLT around 1230hrs and those who get down at ERS lunch was served around 1300 hrs. The train reached CLT by 1315 hrs and i got down and collected my ticket to TVC by Jan Shatabdi and cancelled my ticket in amrita express and proceeded to TVC

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
