The problems of this train is that it is a smaller rake, just 14 coaches. Compared to other ICEs which run full with more than 20 coaches of which only 5-6 coaches are reserved.
But one advantage is that the 8 coaches are DD, which helps people to be seated on luggage rack too. The other ICEs operated by MYS division have UR coaches - chair car type (with LCD TVs :)), so just 6 in a row can sit and very less standing space in the aisle and no one can sit on luggage rack.

The TT seems difficult to be implemented. NMGA-SBGA the track was tested by CRS and looks fit for the high speed run. But the older earlier inaugurated sections like HAS-SBGA and NMGA-BAW looks sort of difficult to maintain the given speed. Especially NMGA-BAW which the passenger earlier struggled and now ICE, I saw was going slowly as though some limit has been set, 63 unlikely.

KSRTC buses would be hit but, still will run with good capacity especially non-stop ones which does the stretch upto YPR in 3.5Hrs. Many will opt for it considering many will need to get down at intermediate stops like 8th mile, Jalahalli cross to go to work in nearby Peenya Industrial area. And one gets an assured seat, instead of struggle in UR, if reservation is full.
