Dear friend, Regarding speeding up, almost all of the trains on IR badly needs to be speeded up with assurance of safety. Avg speed must be increased atleast by 10-15kmph (20-25%).

Extension of the Kalindi to LKO with speeding up (esp. in Tundla-CNB, SSB-GZB section and ) shall be a very good option as it will help get more passengers bound to LKO and the number of coaches too may be increased in the process.
Once speed increase, demand for reserved seats is bound to increase drastically and more SL/ACIII coaches may be required.
