one more way to decongest is full use of banawara station's 5 pfs - BAW and also YNK-Yelahanka 5 pfs.
short distance trains have competition with buses at majestic, so they can start at SBC. but long distance trains like those, which always is full like that rajasthan, UP, HWH trains can start at BAW.
.
1. example - the special train to VSKP...
more... always stands at BAW. only during departure comes to YPR. so it can start at BAW, use bypass, have stops at banaswadi, KJM, WFD - this will help people to board as per their convenience. it more importantly decongest YPR in evening on fridays.
2. lot of rajasthan trains start at SBC. with just pf 8, 9, 10 available for tumakuru line, it always uses up pfs on many days at evening peak hours or night peak hours. this can start at BAW or YPR.
3. HWH train always full, they can start at BAW with stops at banaswadi, KJM and WFD.
4. the same way north trains like gorakhpur trains can start at YNK.
5. even MEMUs to ramanagaram or mandya in future can start at BAW - it is electrified - stop at YPR, malleshwaram and then some 5 minutes at SBC and move towards mysore. it will save long waiting time at SBC blocking 1 pf.
.
there are lots of BMTC buses to BAW also to YNK. also there is congestion. so to eliminate that, long distance trains need to start at these satellite stations, which are developed now. Cantonment too is good option. else always SWR coming up with excuse of SBC, YPR congestion and not starting trains to interior karnataka.
