So if I go according to ur logic, then Ministry of Railways and Railway officials should be considered Morons, as they are wasting Crores of Money in construction of those USELESS LHB maintenance pits , right ???
If LHB coaches can be maintained on ICF pit lines, then why does Railway give excuse of absence of LHB pit lines ?
For your kind information, maintenance of LHB and ICF coaches are quite different. LHB coaches require more trained staff and its components are pretty different from regular ICF coaches.

more... actually require more rigorous maintenance because of the FIAT bogies. They have air-spring secondary suspensions which require more attention during maintenance. Their lifetime is larger because of the materials used in building the coach. ICF bogies are quite good for 110kmph runs. ICF coaches need DIFFERENT maintenance because of the self-generating equipment mounted below the coaches which increases wear and tear due to oscillations.
