A very good decision. Will... Good Move Sir
Often we have some TL Entries seemingly in WaitList forever. Usually, the reason for this is that TLMs have already looked at the TL Entry but are not confident enough to Confirm it or are looking for more inputs from the Member regarding the source, etc. And this delay eventually causes the TL to move down the list and lose priority. The member meanwhile gets frustrated that his TL Entries are being neglected.
.
To resolve this, we shall soon also have an "RAC" Stamping option for TL Entries. If the TL Update
...
is not straightforward or there are questions/doubts about the Entry, TLMs may stamp it "RAC", along with their concerns/questions, so that other TLMs and the member may provide answers or discuss the issue. Stamping a TL as RAC means:
The TL Entry is "In Progress". TLMs are waiting for more info, answers to questions or are actively discussing the issue.
.
Stamping a TL RAC will bring it to the TOP forcing other TLMs to look at it and provide their inputs. Also, it will provide useful feedback to the members that they need to quickly answer questions if they want to move that TL to Confirmed status. If the TL remains in RAC for more than a day, it will get auto-Voided.
.
This way, all TLs are expected to move quickly to either Void or Confirmed.
.
The EXACT same thing will also be implemented for Complaint Entries. If a Complaint Entry is stamped RAC, that means that the issue is being actively discussed by FMs.
.
Repeat: After 1 day in RAC, if that TL/Complaint Entry is not Confirmed, it will get auto-Voided due to lack of resolution.
Thanks.

RAC show first - latest to old. Then WL - latest to old. After that Conf - latest to old. At this time, there are no RACs, since they have all been resolved.
.
It is observed that many TL Entries are held up because of minor quibbles (which definitely should be discussed, no doubt), and thereafter they get neglected and remain in WL forever. This leads to frustration for members who have put in the work to input the values. They would like some decision either way quickly, as some sort of

recognition/acknowledgement of their effort.
.
Moving TLs aggressively into RAC, because of some doubt/concern - and thereafter when these RAC entries keep appearing at the head of the queue, it helps in quickly resolving stalemates and indecisions - especially when it does not significantly matter either way whatever decision is taken.
.
Thanks.

i think a mix of RAC, WL , CNF should be used.
there can be lots of RAC , which when ends when we dont know. then WL ones wont be visible only.

now, its working fine.
The suggestion has now been implemented. The following is the priority of appearance in the TL queue.
.
1. The last 1 hour of latest updates will appear first. (RAC, WL, Conf, Void).
2. After that, RACs.
3.
...

Then WLs.
4. Conf/Void TLs
5. Inactive TLs.
.
Thanks for the suggestion.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
