Good and welcomes these moves.Requested to upgrade all the A+ and A GRADE STATIONS where ever plenty of Railway lands .
The vertical available spaces in the STATION as well as over the TRACK areas in the major Cities have to be effectively utilized.
In Metros -3 BASEMENT(Vehicle parking ) + GF + 15 STORIED Buildings have to be constructed .
...
In major cities -2 BASEMENT + GF+9 STORIED BUILDINGS have to be constructed.
Other cities and Towns -1 BASEMENT + GF+5 Storied Buildings have to be constructed.
Moreover the first floor of the building have to be merged with the FOOT OVER BRIDGE connecting all the platforms. The proposed First Floor shall be accessed to the CITY BUS BAY/CAR /AUTO for the convenience of the people.
Example...In Southern Railway...All the divisional HQs Station and A+ and A GRADE stations have to be developed.
Madurai Division...Tirunelveli,Thoothukkudi,Kovilpatti,Vir udhunagar,Sivakasi,Rajapalayam,Rameswaram,Paramakk udi,Dindugal etc all are having plenty of Railway land and commercially developed early.

Here the objective is increasing the passenger handling capacity of the congested stations, and ST very badly needs it.
.
Cleaning of Rly stns throughout IR network is a separate initiative as swachhata abhiyaan.
