I need help administration, IR forum friends.
My actual journey is from HWH(Howrah) to Jesidih (JSME) in SL class.
I booked PRS tickets and asked booking clerk for telescopic ticket since there is no direct train which starts on 31st October. Hence i had to book in two trains:
1. YPR (Yeswantpur) to HWH(Howrah) and 2. Howrah/Kolkata to JSME(Jesidih)
Somehow...
more... I didn't tnotice this earlier, but when i check carefully now, it seems the ticket shows that reservation upto (for 1st portion of the journey - till howrah) is dusplayed as Balasore (BLS). Ideally this should have displayed reservation upto Howrah (HWH) but instead is showing as Balasore (BLS).
There are 4 people (2 ladies and 2 gents) travelling as pert of this ticket. I had booked this ticket for YPR (Yeswantpur) to HWH (Howrah) as part of telescopic ticket.
Booking clerk had given me two tickets - after calculating total distance and taking fare from me.
First ticket says - Yeswantpur to Jesidih and reservation upto Balasore.
Second ticket is confirmed and says kolkata to jesidih with 4 seat numbers mentioned for that train.
Questions I have:
1) Can i Travel till howrah with the 1st ticket, as it is a telecopic ticket till Jesidih?
2) Will I get reservation upto Howrah in 1st train, or will someone else occupy the seats after Balasore after chart preparation?
3) Is it possible to get this "reservation upto" station corrected in 1st ticket and change it to reservation upto Howrah (the ticket is part of telescopic ticket)?
4) Will I have to pay seperately for correction and getting reservation upto Howrah in 1st train ?
5) will I have to take seperate tickets in same train/other train from Balasore to Howrah for reservation? or will I have to cancel this ticket and book a new ticket for entire journey altogether?
Kindly someone please respond based on your knowledge and experience. I am pretty confused and don't want the people (esp ladies) travelling to suffer in mid journey.
Please please help and respond to resolve the situation. Looking forward to all your responses. Let me know if any more details are need to understand the situation.

Ram Niwas
