Train now with WAP4; Traveled on this train 7/10/16. Departed 10min late, Started slow and was crawling till Narela. Seems few freight train were disturbing the path. After passing Narela WAP4 showed up the beast inside. Thrashed whatever was coming ahead. Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra seems to be mere spectator of this mighty train. Arrived Umbala early by 10min on PF7.
NDLS-ASR super was standing at PF 4 which was running late. Announcement of Shan e Punjab was made which seems to be running late by 1hr on that date. S. E. more... train will be given priority over NDLS-ASR super but super got green signal first which means we will be waiting for another 10min. In between On time Swarn Shatabdi arrived and departed soon. At 8:35PM my train got green signal and off we go. Train was crawling till Ambala City.. It gained speed after Ambala city but not much and NDLS-ASR super was ahead (i thought we would overtake at City but it was not the case). Eventually we overtook at Rajpura Jn and it was a thunderous overtake. Track burning time begins. WAP4 was showing the power thrashing everything coming ahead.
Reached at outskirt of LDH and was kept waiting. Arrived Ludhiana at 10:25pm and halted for 12min. At 10:37 we departed towards Jalandhar Cantt. Time to sleep for me as need to start my journey from Katra to Mata Vaishno Devi in the morning.
My train arrived its destination at 4:50AM.
