I would have taken one of those several "Shankar-Parvati" buses that ply every hour between JSR & DHN :D!
Actually when this train was introduced in 2001/2 don't remember the exact year.....The DHN-JRI-PEH-BJE line was still active......
JRI-PEH was a diesel line.....
So the train used to start from DHN use the now obselete DHN 'Diamond Crossing' to crossover and diverge from the DHN-CRP...
more... line and speed towards JRI!
The DHN-JRI-PEH-BJE line was much faster than the present DHN-PKA-PEH-BJE line.....
Of the once DHN-JRI-PEH-BJE line only the PEH-BJE part remains.......
Actually the PKA-PEH-JRI line would be used by mostly freight trains which would bypass the busy DHN Jn using this bypass and crossed-over towards Chandrapura and Gomoh side using Kusunda........
Now of course, all of this is history :( !!!
