What should a person do? When train starts dot on time from is originating station with coaches that are capable to run at 160Kmph and an engine to provide more than enough power to run it, but still train reaches its destination 4-5hours late. It is just not on some instances but regularly more than 90% time.

The OTs been done quite before ALJN...n smetimes @ Dadri & Khurja!!
N then its turn of Garib Rath & Sampoorna Kranti...So it cnt just follow Rajdhani series, even if SK dont OT...cz it do have hell lot stop in between ALJN-CNB...but then too, its properly been slacked for the same!!
Real disaster is in between CNB-ALD-MGS....& u just cant blame any Zone for the same...cz to understand the same, u need to b well aware about the various block-heads in between CNB-ALD-COI-Chunar-MGS!!

Even though the LHB coaches are fit to travel at 160kmph, It is not desirable to permit non-air conditioned coaches for speeds more than 120 kmph
due to dust ingress and air blast. (Source - RDSO report on running high speed trains in NDLS-BCT and NDLS-HWH routes. Link below). Because of this, even if trains get LHB coaches, they won't go beyond 110- 120 kmph if they have non-A/C coaches.

Also as mentioned by all the other members, if you would notice that there has been absolutely no enhancement in the railway infrastructure whereas the number of trains have kept on increasing. The double lines continue to remain double but trains have increased.
When so many trains start running somewhere or the other more slack time is given for them thus increasing their running time or else they may start running late.

Discussion will lead nowhere until track merge & bifurcation gonna negotiated, which could yield smooth operation!!
Just imagine...One track towards ALD & othe towards COI gets merged into mainline, with both ALD-JBP & ALD-MGS/CNB been trunk...any clearance for JBP bound train will lead at least 10-15 minutes outage which gonna hamper flow for at least 30-40 minutes..& throughout day, multiple such blockage happens!!
Further, with Freight Traffic at its peak, there exist certainly no space to park Freight in between ALD-CNB to keep M/E/SF smooth clearance..which lead..the one block, remains blocked till

Fly-over (COI/ALD Entry) & 4 Lane Track should be prioritized in between ALD-MGS ASAP, else keep on discussion!!
