DEMU service in Angamaly-Piravom corridor to be flagged off on Sunday.
• Service on all days except Sundays. The train will operate from 6 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. It will operate eight daily trips, with Ernakulam Junction as the terminal station.
• Ernakulam-Tripunithura-Aluva-Angamali-Piravom-Ernakulam will be the routes covered
• Later on service will be extended to Cochin harbor terminus and Ernakulam old railway station

Neither DEMU nor MEMU will be der after inauguration. Will this run is a big question mark ?? It will be a success if this run as DEMU connecting Aluva, Tripunitura, ERN/ERS, Cochin Harbour Terminus and Old Eranakulam railway station, Commuters can reach all parts of ernakulam with out traffic hurdles.
