Yes.. Levelling works are complete b/n PANP and Yeliyur. But if they are placing the Girder for new bridge, then I assume they will start shifting works very soon as earlier there was a plan B to use existing Single track above the bridge.
160 Kmph from MAS-JTJ and BWT-SBC some what easy , Lots and lots of curves exists between MYS and SBC which is the real hindrance. Some are very steep like the one in Srirangapatna , Kengeri and Nayandahalli. So its a setback for 160 Kmph. In fact Bangalore to Kengeri stretch has 28 curves in its 12 Kms. Regarding electrification , it has come to an abrupt stop , No improvement in the past 1.5 years , not even a single pole laid.
