Pics of my trip in Konkan Railways (KR) first AC Double Decker..
Though it was introduced as a Premium Special, I couldn't resist myself from travelling in the Double Decker.. Hence, on 25th August I decided to take a trip in the Double Decker.. The ticket costed around Rs. 1300 which was reasonable with food included in the ticket fare..

reality the trip was a disaster in 02005 Double Decker on 26th August..
But firstly enjoy d pics and thereafter the trip report will follow..
On 2nd September again I was forced to travel by Double Decker, as train Konkan Kanya Exp was rescheduled by 12 hrs from source on 31st Aug 2014 in which I had booked ticket 2 months ago.. The return ticket costed me Rs. 1100..
I will post the experience of 02005 Double Decker Spl from Thane to Karmali and 02006 Double Decker Spl from Kankavli to Thane in a single blog under one thread..

1) Double Decker entering Thane stn. lead by Kalyan WDG3A # 19481.. (Train arrived Thane at 07:15 am, late by 1h 15mins)
2 & 3) Double Decker stopped at signal after Taloje..
4) Roha to Panvel Special crossing us slowly lead by Kalyan WDM3D # 11470, after which we were given a starter..
5) AC Double Decker at Panvel..
6) Train board Lokmanya Tilak (T) Mumbai to Karmali..
7) Double Decker at Panvel.
8) MPS of Double Decker 160 km/hr..
9) Double Decker at Apta.. LP can be seen standing in white Shirt..
10) Train board (Holiday special) on Duronto livery LWLRRM..
11) Seating Plan of AC Double Decker..

by KJM WDP4 # 20058, first time captured KJM EMD with modified cab..
19) More than 10 hrs late 12133 Manglore Express enters Pen station where we were already halted for more than 2hrs.
20) Finally entered in KR and stopped at Kolad.. (With an awesome delay of just 8hrs 20 mins) DD looking good in cloudy background..

Double Decker doing 100 plus on KR, from Roha till Mangaon..
Thereafter we had to follow monsoon restrictions where we were not allowed to cross 80 km/hr..
So, the pics of 02005 Double Decker trip are over..

Pics of Return Journey in 02006 Karmali LTT Double Decker Express..
In return journey decided to take the pics of interiors of the Double Decker..
Return was far better than the previous experience of the Double Decker, always 10 to 15 mins before time at all stations till Roha and reached Thane bang on time..
