I recently travelled on this train 21 feb 2014 from SBC to BPL - B4 coach. It was my first travel on Rajdhani. somethings I noted, this train gives some hickups when starting..or even when running, is it normal?
The other thing, I was not expecting something like this, when we were about to get down the Cateering staff came up and started demanding Tip. I never expected this, after paying a hefty amount in passenger fare, why am I expected to pay extra to them, the questions here is about ethics and not money actually. Never in any restaurant also I came across waiter demanding Tips, Tip is something which is given voluntarily, not demanded. Morever they were also not happy
...
with amount which I paid, they asked for additional amount. If they are demanding Tip, then railways are not paying them well enough, and also not training them on ethics, if not then why charge us with such a huge amount in fare, neither the food quality is that good?
Later on the railway a/c coach attendant (who gives the blankets, bedsheets..etc) also came up and demanded Tip. What the hell?

Thats the different jerk u tlked about...its the sudden deceleration & then acceleration pick-up after Loco shifts gear post full chugging...In tht it feels as like for a while, train lost smewhere in neutral zone n u await the sudden thundering pull!!
While the jerk been discussed here address unbearable shakes, never experienced before (especially the one who traveled in LHB/CBC Rake for the first time)!!

You can find this "Tip" system in normal trains also...
Recently I traveled from ALD-HWH by CSTM-HWH Mail (3AC).

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
