yup...a great initiative.Hope Siliguri gets new fliers coming in.We can expect new Airlines to offer both premium and no frills segment service from Siliguri Bagdogra Airport.Hope we have all the travellerss coming to Siliguri(from flights or trains) to avail the DHR services from Siliguri Jn upto Tindharia/Gayabari/Kurseong.And they can also enjoy the Darjeeling Kurseong Service of DHR.
Initiative is going to have direct flight from Dhaka to Bagdogra, so that it can boost tourism & business in Dooars & North Bengal.
Great...A Dhaka-Bagdogra flight will do wonders.Hope we have flights from places like Pune,Mangalore,Surat,Ahmedabd,Lucknow,Jaipur.In the international arena hope to have direct flights from Chittagong,Colombo too

nobhonil10 2412 blog postsThe DARJEELING KURSEONG SERVICE has been extended upto Mahanadi.The service started after 4 long years.Now only 6 kms left for completion of whole stretch of repair.GAYABARI-MAHANADI stretch is up for repair.So passengers can avail the service upto Mahanadi and can continue their service from Gayabari itself.
More such DHR services should be synchronised with new trains mostly premium ones.One such service should be synchronised with Rajdhani Exp ariiving NJP within 12.00 noon.Both the Rajdhanis arrive within 12 noon and a DHR service can be started at around 01.00PM so that various national audience can be catered.With efffective advertising and Co-branding it with Incredible India Campaign can facilitate the process.
