This train is actually quite punctual contrary to what some people say or have said. During my journey, it arrived 5 mins before time at KGP. However, the major problem this train may face that it could be halted at Andul or SRC outer due to non availability of platform. During my journey, it halted for almost 10 mins at Andul because of this problem. Apart from that, no problem whatsoever with the punctuality of this train.

One charging outlet is present for each row of seats on both sides. Some points are functional while others are non functional and it depends on your luck. Also, there is a mobile phone holder which allows you to place your phone while charging. Really useful in my opinion.

This tip is regarding the AC CC:
This train's CC is an old CC of Steel Express. It is clean enough but on board cleaning was not present(atleast after KGP). The toilets were clean but a little bit more will not harm it.

Since this train is a SHM bound train, you can easily get tickets. In AC, non AC and general compartments, many seats remain empty. If you want to go till SRC, you will find no better option that this one as other trains like Dhauli, Ispat remain packed. From SRC, if you want to go to HWH, you can always catch an EMU.

Avoid this train. You never know when it will start, and here it will stop for how many hours. Since last 3 months, every single day the train reaches Shalimar about 1 1/2 to 2 hours late. But, IR shows it reached 15m late. Wrong info provided by IRI regularly.
