Delicious food served on board 1 AC in the train. The staff try their best to serve menus of choice on board. However the sabzi is still missing from the menu and no choice in the ice creams. Biscuits are the plain ones and not digestives and welcome drinks are not provided in glasses.
The coach however is not in best of shape. Much below standard for a 1 AC Coach, that too in the best train in the howrah-mumbai sector.

From Tata to CSMT
Day 1 lunch - As usual Dal, rice, chapati, chicken, pickle, curd, icecream, dry veg (aaloo matar). (After Tata departure). Good food in taste and somewhat hot too.
Day 1 snacks - Popcorn packet, Tea/coffee, Kachori, boondi laddoo (Around Jharsuguda) kachori was good.
Day 1 dinner - Roti, dal, rice, dry veg (bhindi), egg curry, pickel, egg curry (bland without...

fried egg 2pcs), mishti doi. Except egg curry all items are good.
Day 2 - Morning tea/coffee with 2 marie biscuits.
Day 2 b/f - bread slices, omlette, sauce, butter, bar one chocolate. Omlette was piping hot. Take a vada pav at Igatpuri and combine it with your B/F and enjoy the Thull ghats.
After this customary tip to 3 people - First catering, then sweeper, then attendant.
The attendants are polite and good. If they see you sleeping, they won't disturb you, instead will deliver your snacks/breakfast when you wake up.
