Good speed but doesn't cover up delay much. Can be used if getting seat is tough in Gitanjali

Cleaning done in morning and evening by janitors whom are based by Santragachi coaching depot, S.E.Rly
They don't ask for tips!
Water is available & refilled at Tatanagar or Rourkela, next day at Bilaspur, Nagpur and Bhusaval.

No unauthorised passengers board it's Sleeper coaches, so go ahead & book your ticket!
Can also try 12767/Dn. Nanded Santragachi Exp (Tuesday) & 22893/Dn. Shirdi Sai Nagar Howrah Express (Sunday)

Rice & fish curry thali [Rice, dal, seasonal vegetable dish, rohu/catla fish curry] - Rs.130 (Curd and packaged drinking water was missing)
Chicken thali - Rs.130
Egg thali - Rs.110

Chicken meal was as same as fish meal...
Breakfast (Bread omelette) is Rs 50/- I guess. That's what I was charged in Samarsata and HWH-CSTM Mail in January.
Then it's cheaper in this train!
In last year June it was Rs.40 in Jnaneshwari Deluxe too might be they've increased recently. My DOJ in this train was : 15/01/16
I recently traveled on 15/01/16 in 12870 but found this as catering charges!

Due to megablock in central railways(Matunga-mulund section or mulund-Kalyan section)
Very badly maintained. Gets around 12 hr TAT at CSMT, still not cleaned. In the whole journey ( i was onboard till ROU) only bathrooms were cleaned that also next day at BSP and then at ROU. Though new LHB coaches but maintainance was also bad in contrast to HTE based 22845/46 which also has new LHB SL coaches but that is very well maintained and cleaned. The flushes of bathrooms don't work, taps are loose or broken and leak. Most of the wash basins are choked, cleaned in BSP but again after first use it got choked. The floors of bathrooms are always wet with some amount of water always present there. My observation was in S3,4,5. For maintainance and cleanliness I will rate it 1.5/5. Had the pax not behaved properly, I can't imagine what would have happened to cleanliness in the journey from CST to HWH. Railways
Seriously, it was better maintained during it's ICF days than in present LHB condition. All push buttons of toilet flushes are missing, fitted with old rudimentary taps as if coach is 20 years old ICF one. Santragachi coaching depot of S.E.Rly is very poor at maintaining LHB coaches in short.
