lt is decided to replace 2 rakes of 12951/12952 MMCT-NDLS Rajdhani Exp. (which is at present running as 02951/52) with Tejas rakes, Ex MMCT w.e.f" 19-07-2021 & Ex NDLS w.e.f 20 07"202'1 with revised link and discontinuation with rake sharing from other trains.
I can relate to it. Coz when we travelled in Karmali Tejas even we were confused whether to get down or no. N then eventually me n my friends got down at Chiplun for few minutes. Lekin sahi kaha aapna dhak dhak wala mahaul bana rehta hai.
Vo human feelings h.. beshak malum ho ki nhi hoga band time se phle fir b hota h
Also Max. permitted speed of Tejas rake higher. (200kmph ) in addition to a little bit better interiors/aesthetics

Last govt ke major scams bhi CAG ne hi highlight kiya tha. Still in opinion that it remains unbiased and is quite factually correct
Report may be true. But any how after railways 100% electrification move, Diesel locos may not required more. Better if they convert the failed locos into Electric one at Varanasi shed.
CAG... Highlighted Factual things...Whatever Quality Lapses & Corruption happened during Procurement of Raw Material used in Manufacturing would be Highlighted by CAG...
CAG Audited the Books against Work done within a Particular period like Account, Policies, Quality Control & Procedural Ethics...Etc..
Yes agree...Its just a sarcasm 👍
CAG may be right, not denying it. My point was let convert these failed locos into electric, anyhow 100% electrification is targeted by IR.
The HOG conversion work on the WR network was first started at the Mumbai Central Division of the zone in the month of November 2015, when the first rake of train number 12951/12952 Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express was converted
Indian Railways’ Western Railway (WR) zone achieves big success! This Indian Railways zone is operating the highest number of head-on-generation (HOG) system equipped LHB trains on the network! As many as 67 locomotives have been converted to HOG system-enabled ones over the Western Railways network, hauled by electric traction. The HOG technology is environment-friendly and helps in reduction in operating cost of trains. In this regard, a net savings of Rs 32.22 crore has been recorded during the current financial year of
Head on Generation technology is Environmentally friendly mode of operation over End on Generation s Diesel generator.
Moreover, EOG produced heavy noise pollution. In HOG no / nil noise pollution. The Guard / under guard s working efficiency also improved in HOG without subject to heavy noise in EOG and their heath / mental health also improved a lot.
