Have you seen Lucknow Varanasi, Meeruth? Yes UP can still be called as backward becasue even after 4 new express ways, it will take time to develop. Remember, today you are asking to remove Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad. Why? These cities were also backward till last 15 years but around 2000 when infrastructure was developed, it took 10 years for getting developed completely. And now contribution of GB Nagar district in economy of UP is 10%.
During initial time, even Delhi Metro was not successful. Metro network needs to extended for getting successful.
No one wants to travel in auto from A to B , then in Metro from B to C then again in auto from C to D. on that place they prefer auto from A to D.

I still don't know that when it comes to the topic of development, why they start crying over floating bodies i Ganga river? Population of UP is 20 carore and everyone will die one day surely then why so much question by seeing dead bodies? If they want to connect with Covid then i have seen dead body in Ganga on Rani Ghat Fatehgarh (Near Farrukhabad) in 2000 itself? and there was no Covid at that time. If so much deaths were in UP that peoples were forced to put the bodies in river then why only Ganga was there? There are so many other rivers in UP but pictures were got viral from Gagna only.
