Yesvantpur Vasco Express has become a decent SF category train from YPR to UBL.
Second Intercity of SBC UBL section with decent timings... I believe people will prefer this over KsK due to delayed departure at 3 pm
VSG YPR also needs a change..
It can depart UBL at 5am to reach YPR at 12.40 pm
Or depart 5.45 AM to reach YPR at 1:15 pm..by this slot, this train will...

I think VSG YPR has too heavy slack between Tumkur to YPR. Seen it arrive YPR arrive 20 to 30 minutes BT easily.
I also think when UBL division starts LHB conversion this will be among the top contenders infact I'm pretty sure SWR will LHBfy it before Goa SF.

From VSG, it can start 30 minutes late and arrive at YPR by 12 noon. This can reduce one hour journey time. SWR should think about this.

Yes, Platforms availability at SBC is major constraints in making trains reach from BAW to SBC
Is there any possibility in near future of SWR solving the structural issue of not being able to receive/dispatch trains coming from MYS going towards BNC in platforms 1-4. If that is solved, lot of congestion in SBC can be resolved
Mysore side trains cannot go to PF 1-4. YPR side trains can get to PF 8-10 only. BNC side trains can go to PF 1-7 only.
Mysore line and YPR lines were Metre Gauge and converted to Broad Gauge. While modifying, railways did not take care of this aspect. Like a Y, only one set of movements are possible. Top 2 arms of Y cannot allow movements between two.
Now also, railways can think of Laying a X type of arrangement between Krishna Flour mill side and Sheshadri Puram so that...

Thanks for the info. Few years ago i was hearing that for trains coming from Mysuru going towards BNC, they were exploring the possibility of receiving them in one more additional platform ( dont remember which one . I think it was 4 or 5). The plan was to try and relocate some pit lines /stabling lines which are there in between few pf. There was something being said on these lines but dont remember exactly
