oliverdfb 1 blog postsI travelled from Secunderabad to Kalyan by 17222 Kakinada LTT express. One good thing is that they have introduced halt at Kalyan which makes it easier for commutes of Thane dist to save their time. Overall it was an excellent journey.

LTT CCT train needs to get fewer stops based on the boarding data and can be converted into a SF daily train. The timings could be made more suitable by departing from LTT in the evening 1815 and reaching SC in the morning 0615, and reaching Kakinada by 1615 hrs, thus reducing travelling time from 25 hrs to 22 hrs. In the reverse direction, the starting time from Kakinada port 900 hrs, SC 1900 hrs and LTT at 0800 hrs. There is lot of slack time at Maulali-SC-lingampalli section and also Tandur-wadi sections.
