Irshad13~ 8101 blog postsThis train TT is so illogical. It needs 49 minutes to cover Ibrahimpur- Bijapur just 4km distance? It should reach Bijapur by 21.30pm also it lags very much from Hubli to Bijapur. Now most of the part is doubled so need speedup of this train. Depart UBL at 17.00 and reach Bijapur at 21.30 atleast and in return depart BJP at 5.30/6am and reach UBL at 10.00/10.30am with average of Superfast speed as anyhow it's special train and railways charge SF ticket for this train on tagline of being special express..

The importance is not kilometre Or less time. Important is the connectivity of karnataka places. No problem of running Bidar Belagavi via Gulbarga Bijapur Gadag Hubli. We can skip one loco reversal using Hotgi bypass..
Actually if SCR and CR agree. Keeping PM maintenance at Ubl.
07329/30 can be extended to Bidar via Hg bypass and Klbg, a good overnight train from Ubl to Bidar. Further this train can have RSA by extending 07377/8 Majn-Bjp exp to Bidar via Hg bypass and Klbg. Both these train extension required SM at Bidar and multizone approvals. Here intrastate connectivity will be boosted.

If 3 zone coordination is difficult, why and how Basava is running in 3 zones, though start and end points are in SWR?

That inter-zonal meeting has to happen again which happened for sanctioning Basava and Sur-Has SF exp.
Few more examples of 3 zone short distance trains: CMNR TPTY, SBC TPTY. So it is possible, if there is a will. Else it is possible only to give reasons.

I heard their is demand for change in timings with speed up like depart from Bijapur at 6 am with additional halt at Ibrahimpur so that extension area residents of Bijapur city can utilize this train easily..
