What is the highest amount of delay you have faced till date in a train journey? **Also please try to share your experience in comments. **Tagging trains mentioned by members for delay profiling (as well as Chambal express where I had faced maximum delay of 12.5 hrs in 1995).
It can be for any other train. Also some other member posted about SCR trains getting LHBfied ASAP. Hence I thought maybe it is for some other train. I am not aware of any notice which says that Mumbai mail via NGP must be LHBfied fast hence I asked. I will be happy if any train gets LHB.
What happened to Mumbai mail via ngp lhbfication...any news? Last month SER received 106 lhb coaches from ICF Chennai. But around 30 max lhb coaches (excluding Ispat exp lhb 2S coaches)max is seen in SER KGP division between Kharagpur to Howrah stretch. Cannot trace other coaches anywhere. Anybody else had traced anywhere? Is it gone to other zones?,
I think HWH-ADI Exp has high chances of lhbfication maybe after HWH- Mumbai mail via ngp. Because of delay in Arrival of link rake at Howrah station this train frequently gets a delayed start at night because of PM done at SRC which takes minimum 6 hrs time. Convertion to lhb i think will reduced maintenance time also and will be more safety to passengers. Last Wednesday i observed many around 15 to 20 coaches of ICF, CBC, Duronto H-LHB OLD coaches mostly of 2009, 2010, 2011 year of SER at Kharagpur yard . Most probably going to KGP WORKSHOP
Weekly Blog for the week to 29th September 2019 5th October 2019. Only one day of RailFanning (1st October 2019) during this week due to other important engagements. Pictures 1 to 5 :- A dream which got fulfilled surprisingly. As 13121/22 KOAA GCT via CPR was cancelled last week the rake of it was parked near my home. This was the first time a LHB Rake was spotted at Ballygunge siding (Bondel Gate). My section only witness EMUs and Freights but I was indeed lucky enough to see a LHB Rake... more...
near my home. After capturing the Shabd Bhedi RSA rake at BLN I headed towards Howrah to meet our PNR Monitor MRB who came to Kolkata by Azad Hind the same morning. Last year when he came to Kolkata I couldn't meet him as I was hospitalized due to Dengue. Exactly 1 year back (6th October 2018) I had high fever onboard Jnaneswari Express and was later admitted to Hospital. 😅 Bhavesh, MRB and me later had a visit to SRC Pooling Point and ELS.
