During Christmas, at YPR, after the AC coaches, 2 coaches didn't have the coach number. The numbering began (from S10, S9 and so on) after these coaches, i.e from 3rd coach after the AC coaches. Hence the numbering continued upto S3 and after S3 there was the SLR coach. The people, who were alloted berths in S1 and S2, were worried as they could not find their coach number. So few of them went and occupied seats in the 2 coaches which didn't have any number.
Now at 8 pm, just 15 mins before the departure, the crew came and changed the coach numbers of all the coaches starting from the rear end, i.e. S3 to S1, S4 to S2 and...
more... so on..
As a result, the passengers, from all the coaches, had to occupy their berths in the "correct" coach number. People were very confused as to which is the right coach.
This all happened just 10 mins prior to departure. And the rake was shunted at 6:30pm on pf 5!
As a result, the rake had the correct coach number on the right side, and wrong coach number on the left !!
