Train No.08570 Quilon – Vishakapatnam bi-weekly special scheduled to leave Quilon at 21.00 hrs. on 28.10.2013 (Monday) and scheduled to leave Katpadi at 10.55 hrs. on 29.10.2013 (Tuesday) was cancelled due to cancellation of pairing train. BUT SO FAR, I have not received my refund, inspite of filing the TDR on the very next day!

Plea to continue Kollam special

Railway passengers travelling to Kerala are becoming jittery as the last trip of the Visakhapatnam – Kollam special train is scheduled on November 28.
The proposal for introduction of a regular train to Kollam, announced in the last Railway Budget, it is yet to materialise.
In a letter to the Divisional Railway Manager, Kerala Kala Samithi president N.M. Pillai noted that all trains to Kerala were overcrowded and passengers fail to get accommodation even during off-season.
This being the Sabarimala season, the trains would be overcrowded from November to January 2014, and devotees travelling to the holy place would face several difficulties.
