One of the best location for railfanning. Even though majority all the trains cross at night time (don't even dare think to do railfanning at night here), but still at afternoon time lots of diesel action is visible. Best time to railfanning photography is from 1430hrs to 1800hrs. This afternoon time is safe and no disturbance will be there. Catch the 1425hrs dep Pune-Nanded-Nzb passenger from pune and it's the 3rd station from pune.
The first train from aftrenoon starts with the pune bound jhelum express (if its late which its always gets late). Then enjoy the KJM hunk udyan express, Pune hunk Goa express, south TVC trains, jammu bound jhelum , SUR king Hutatma exp and Hyd shining express, with inbetween...

continuous freight actions. All the action is presently in diesel traction, but soon in 2-3 years electric locos will rule this region.
There's a gradient at a distance with turn towards Loni-Daund side, which makes a valuable catch for rail photgraphers.
At about 1730hrs, local passenger will come to station to return pune by the 1830hrs dep daund-pune local. 15min prior to train arr, the SM comes and sell tickets. Return to pune jn. by this train. The last local to return pune is at about 2030hrs (which majority of time comes late as it comes from NZB).
Precaution:
Keep your bag full of eatables snacks and water as at platform its nothing present.
People are bit curious to see a person taking photographs of trains. So don't get rude if they ask for the reason. Show them your collection. If happy, they themselves will pose for a snap. !! ;)

Manjari Budruk Is a Heaven for High speed railfanning.
Here There is No Loop lines like Hadapsar, Loni , Uruli stations. So trains pass raising dust storms.
Now reaching here by PMPML bus is bit difficult and time-consuming.
So I am updating Passenger Trains Timetable along with by which Railfans can adjust there timings of railfanning.
