If your alighting at MGS station. Take exit from PF1. You will find share auto's to Kashi. @20Rs. Per person. Got down after crossing bridge on Ganga River. There will be a small way downwards.
After getting down, now you have entered Kashi. The ghats will starts from there. From there you can take a autorickshaw(electric vehicle) to temple or any of the Ghats / hotel. They charge you 10-20Rs. If more than single person you can bargain.

Mughlo ke jamane ke khaane ki bbaat he kuch aur thi sir...yaha k base kitchen ko dekha maine itti jyada gandagi ki aap khana dekh nhi skte...sare cheze aise he idhar udhar pada hua tha..eggs idhar udhar...khana banane ke bartan gande pade the pure :( upar se overcharging 15 ka rail neer 18 me yeh toh bahut kharab hai
Aur iska enquiry bhi bahut bekar hai 2010 mei mujhe patna jana tha winter mei aur brahmputra aur magadh ko chod ker kissi train ke baarei mei koi detail nhi.

Mughalsarai means a kind of loot paat of train passengers by vested interests... I remember a newspaper vendor who had entered into our 1st AC Coach in 13005 ER Punjab Mail way back in 2008 and was trying to sell us Times of India Newspaper which was 1 day old (Date was scribbled off with pen ink) at a higher price. When my Mother argued with him on this issue then he snatched the newspaper saying "Rehne deejiye phir" and ran away from our coach :-p
The whole area from Allahabad,Varanasi,MGS,Patna,Gaya etc is a travelers nightmare. I have had so many bad experiences in that zone that I avoid it now like a plague. When my friends ask me info about traveling to that area I just tell them better off avoiding it.

The food was tasty and good, its Casserole Meal Non Veg which is only @55 Rs and the best part of this is that the food was cheaper and tasty...

That day (2 hr delay @ MGS),it was trolled near TDL which is very rare for 12394.. Usually 12394 is On time @ MGS in summers..Even today arrived 24 mins early..
