This is condition AC-III Compartment of Dwarka Express. The compartment is full of Bed-bug & cockroach and i am not able sleep whole night and some how i completed my journey.This is my worst travelling experience and in between there is no water in the compartment. This train really cover long distance i.e. from Guwahati to Okha and railway should provide better facilities to avoid convenience to Passengers.This photos was taken on journey from GHY(Guwahati) TO BRC(Vadodara Jn) on 17th November 2014 to 19th November 2014.

Autos are most convenient transportation here due to rates and well known the city.
When you just exit the station, there are plenty of Auto walas you will found, they are also an agent (you may call) as they have link with Hotels of any range and Dharamshala to help you to book the best range hotel in your...

They will charge 10Rs per head to any Hotel or dharamshala which is nearby Temple (walkable distances)

2. #Taxis
Some people book a Taxi for 1 or 2 day whatever the price you may bargain, i noticed a family of 3 booked Tata Indica for 1 day @2500 Rs
.
3. #Buses
I don't know whether the free bus service similar to Somnath Trust board is also available here in Dwarka or not...
.
#Suggestion:- Opt for Auto and he will become your guide for a full day tour (more info on this will be posted separately on another Tip)
#My_Experince:- we just normally took an Auto and told him directly take us to some hotel or dharamshala, he show us 2-3 normal hotel and Dharamshala , later we told him to show some good hotels then we found 1 of them...
He only charge 10Rs per head, and also we booked him for entire day circular tour (more info on this will be posted separately on another Tip)

Yes, both dwarka/somnath absolutely safe for families as negligible crime rate..food prices /taxi prices are genuine...also religious loot by pandas very less than UP /Bihar /other parts of country ..

Bro, are there dormitories in dwarka railway station? Is it possible to take bath and go to darshan ?
