Great location for railfanning.....curves on either side of the station....Also express trains generally skip it at high speed.....
Badlapur ST Stand is just outside the station on west side. From there, you can catch buses for Barvi Dam, Murbad, Titwala, Vangani, Panvel etc. Apart from MSRTC, NMMT runs one service of route no. 46 from Vashi Railway Station to Badlapur Fire Brigade. It has a stop at Badlapur Rly Station East.
Auto stand is just outside of the station on both east and west side. Share autos have reach to almost all parts of the town.

One can stand on the Sky walk at Badlapur station and enjoy the passing trains. Generally mail/express trains pass through this station at good speed.
One can also tag Ghatkopar in this tip, have done it numerous times, especially in evening where i used to wait till ND passed by :P
that said, are there guards on skywalk??? there are some on ghatkopar's skywalk and they sometime don't let people linger far too long.
