The AC Retiring room is good and opened in 2017. Has good facilities but the management at the station don't take care as I had done online booking but when I reached the station the room was allotted to some other group of people who were to be vacated and I had to wait for 1 hour on the platform.

near the river bank of Tungabhadra and Shiva temples nearby...just for darshan one can travel in Tungabhadra exp/17023 from sc/kcg and all psgr trains.
for transportation there will be number of share autos outside the halt station which is near the road...can complete darshan and board the Tungabhadra exp/17024 in return...nearby city is Kurnool
