The PrePaid Taxi counter does not have enough taxis to satisfy the huge number of passengers of 22119 CSTM-KRMI Tejas Express. We stood in the hot sun for fifty (50) minutes before we could get a taxi.
KRMI is a very small station with just one small/narrow entrance-cum-exit. When 22119 CSTM-KRMI Tejas Express arrives from CSTM, it is total chaos. The passengers for 22120 KRMI-CSTM Tejas Express do not wait outside the station for the 22119 passengers to get out. It was a big struggle to get out of the station, esp for people with lots of luggage.
Could see only one (1) porter at KRMI when 22119 CSTM-KRMI Tejas Express arrived.
For Old Goa (Basilica of Bom Jesus):
Nearest station is Karmali. By walk, 3km from Karmali Railway Station (30-45 min). By auto-rickshaw, nearly 30 INR from Karmali Railway Station to Old Goa. Panjim (Panaji), the state-capital of Goa, is barley 9 kms from here. So it is easy to take a bus from Panjim to Old Goa (nearly 10 INR). Taxis tend to overcharge in Goa. Don't opt of taxi if you are alone or in couple (you will have to shell out excess money).

there is another option you can walk along with track toward mumbai end their is rob just 100m from station from there buses are available to panjim
Yep. Wanted to put this tip but didn't considering that it is not advisable to suggest pax to walk along the tracks :)
