The 20608/Mysuru (MGR) Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express provided an amazing journey from Mysore to Bangalore, running nonstop at 100 kilometers per hour. The smoothness of the ride was impressive, with no side-to-side movement or jerks, as confirmed by the water bottle experiment. The food was excellent, and the service provided was top-notch. The train accelerates quickly, and we arrived at KSR Bengaluru City Junction (Bangalore) two minutes ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend this train, and thank Indian Railways for their exceptional service to South India, particularly to the state of Karnataka.

Visited Jog Falls on Aug 5 by travelling in this train from end to end. Below are my observations
1. Train was already shunted on PF6.
2. Vishwamanava was already standing on PF3. Vishwamana rake was longer and had D5 while my train was short at 16 coaches and no D5. The GS coaches start after D4.
3. My first disappointment was seat

numbering of CC coach doesn`t match with that in IRCTC. I booked 2 separate tickets so that both me and my wife were allotted window seats. However those were Middle and Aisle seats. Looks like aisle seats are the ones with windows.
4. Occupancy at 70% from MYS to SMET. After that it is 10%.
5. At MYS PF#6, one one coffee vendor was there.
6. At Krishnarajanagara and Hole Narsipur, train stopped for 30-45 seconds only compared to 1-2 mins.
7. No Railneer. Only Bailey water bottle available priced at 15 rupees and has good quality bottle compared to slim railneer.
8. Churmuri, some buns, maddur vada available at small stations.
9. At Hassan, we could get 2 idli, 1 vada with chutney at 50 rupees. No dose available.
10. At Arsikere, my train arrived after chalukya and departed before it. Not much occupancy obsered in sleeper coaches.
11. Kadur and Birur are deserted junctions with no trains, no people, no facilities, not even stray dogs or cows.
12. Many people lie down on 3 seats in CC coaches as everyone was sleepy.
13. TTE deboarded at SMET. So anyone can travel in CC coach in that leg.
14. SMET-TLGP is the best part of journey. It is a single line with no electrification. One can spot peacocks flying on either side, heavy dense trees on both sides. Kind of like images from Nilambur Road from Kerala.
15. I found GS seats to be best. If the rush is less, one can easily lie back entirely. In D1-D4, people were asleep with only half part of body supported by seat.
16. One cannot transverse from CC, D coaches to GS coaches as they have no vestibules.
17. Liked the environment of Sagara and Talguppa. Not much commercialization, felt nice and quiet with just 1 food stall with biscuits.
18. Will add them later as soon as I remember anything important.

BRINDAVAN GARDENS(KRS):
Location : Brindavan gardens is located 28 kms north-west of Mysore city.
Best Season to Visit: June-July
This is India's first irrigation dam, built in 1924. Sir. M. Vishweswariah, the engineer who designed and built this dam, has shown his acumen in converting a dam site into a beautiful garden with colourful fountains and ponds downstream.

There are plenty of City Buses plying between City Bus Stand to KRS. I think the price is Rs.15-20 (I donot know the exact ticket price as I usually cover the sight seeing places like KRS, Chamundi Hills, Sri Ranga Patna etc., by buying day pass).
