Long distance Express Trains mentioned in table below are running with diesel traction in electrified territory of NCR system. In order to eliminate running of diesel engine in electrified territory, it is proposed to by NCR run these trains with revised traction as per details given below-
I was hoping to see VSG PNBE LHB at 130kph with EMD which is not possible in VSG PNVL.

I think if this train was in ECR it would have got LHB long back but it's UBL division in SWR is yet to LHBfy a single train.
By topping up diesel engine between LKO-AY-LKO, 107 km ka kya matlab hai ki lucknow se ayodhya phir se diesel engine attached hoga.
Top up mein eloco ko band karke uske aage diesel loco ko attach kiya jayega
Lucknow Tejas Extension: Issues brought by NCR & NR
LKO Tejas ko cancel karke rake LKO Shatabdi ko de dena hi sahi hoga. Nahi to faltu losses jhelte rahe. Ayodhya ke liye bhi ek overnight ANVT-FD SF would be much better for everyone rather than a Premium seating train taking nearly 8 hrs for the journey.
I dont think Prayagraj - Lucknow Shatabdi would be a good earner keeping in mind the route. The train would still take atleast 3.5 hrs and would have high fare. The route needs to be speeded up first, so that the journey can be completed atmost within 3 hrs, preferably 2.5 hrs, for any Shatabdi like train to be feasible on the route.
It will be good not to interfere with Jhansi-LKO ICE it is superhit one of this route. PRYJ-JHANSI connection via Banda is required, a ICE or JS will suffice, like Jhansi - allahabad passenger is not preferred due to high travel time, it should be made fast TT.
Yes A JS or ICE with fast TT is required here(LKO-PRAYAG) not a premium train.
Yes, Shatabdi should be given TEJAS rake, corporate or pvt train is a flop idea for now(maybe feasible 10-15 yrs later) . Nobody would prefer paying extra, when LKO AC express, Shatabdi, GOMTI, LJN mail Etc are available. Super rich people prefer Flights( fare almost close to Tejas and time drastically less).
