Representatives of passenger associations highlight the potential for a slight travel time reduction to benefit passengers, especially given the high demand for the service, which was introduced based on the existing 130+ bus services and 2,000 passenger car units operating between Coimbatore and Bengaluru.

Additionally, a weekly Amrit Bharat Express train was flagged off between Malda Town and Bengaluru's Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal, beginning on Sundays, with a journey time of approximately 18 hours. This train operates every Sunday from Malda Town, arriving in Bengaluru on Tuesdays, and leaves Bengaluru on Tuesdays, arriving in Malda Town on Thursdays. The Amrit Bharat Express is an LHB push-pull train with non-air-conditioned coaches and special amenities.
