Its #rare and soothing to watch a revival of an abandoned railway station. Apart from this station 2 more are abandoned namely Sarson gram and Karma railway station both in same Chunar - chopan section.

The station is Vishwanath Puri is getting re-developed again, It lies in chunar -chopan branch line between the stations chunar ( 12km) and saktesgarh (9km) from here. I was on board Sgrl-bsb intercity Exp.

The station will provide extra line and add up capacity in trains handling in the section. There will be 2 loop lines and a main line in here, and 1 rail level platform along with a small Station building comprising of SM room, waiting hall, tools room and a booking counter.
