Malda Town - Patna Vande Bharat still hasn't started running, bro.

It was all over the news back in June 2023, but it's been nearly a year now, and we've lost hope of ever seeing this train kicking off.

And, to make matters worse, the Farrakka Express keeps getting extended, totally snubbing the Malda division and Eastern Railway.

The only positives this year were the rerouting of the Agartala Rajdhani and a few new trains coming from Godda/Dumka. Apart from that, nada exciting happened. Passengers along this route are sitting tight, waiting for that new Vande Bharat to roll in.

ISSUES ON THIS ROUTE:

• The Kiul-Malda route max speed is still stuck at 110kmph. They gotta upgrade the tracks for 130kmph.

• Local folks ain't fully conscious of preserving their favorite trains.

• The railway officials in MLDT division ain't showing much care for developing this route.

Malda Town - Patna Vande Bharat abhi tak uske route mein introduce nahi hui hai

Niche VB June 2023 se charcha mein thi lekin ab lagbhag ek saal ho gaya hai aur is train ka launch hone ki ummeed almost khatam ho chuki hai.

Ironic baat ye hai ki existing trains jaise Farrakka Express ke extensions lagatar ho rahe hain, jisse Malda division aur Eastern Railway ko ignore kiya ja raha hai.

Agartala Rajdhani ka 20501/02 divert ho jana aur kuch naye trains ki shuruaat Godda/Dumka se sirf is section ke liye achhi khabar thi is saal, iske alawa kuch accha nahi hua. Is route ke yatri ab bhi ek nayi VB chalne ka intezaar kar rahe hain.

IS ROUTE PAR SAMASYAYEN:

• Kiul-Malda route ka MPS ab bhi 110kmph par atka hua hai. Tracks ko 130kmph ke liye upgrade ki zarurat hai.

• Local logon ki apni priya trains ko bachane ke liye anjaanata.

• MLDT division railway officials is route par vikas ke liye chintit nahi hain.
