Upto Sattupally anthe....KVR line alignment ithey no idea....TG govt i guess requestd IR to use same alignment till Sattupally and then from there line to KVR and Kondapally .... chudali
The line is proposed by Singareni Coal fields for coal transportation in 2014 approx and agreed to contribute 90% of the cost. As the line is parallel to proposed BDCR to KVR it may get extended In future and IR has written letters to TG and AP about land acquisition and sharing of cost but they are is no reply or intrest from both states. IR is not decided whether to take up BDCR to Satuppali to KVR fully or just upto Satuppali for SCL. Before Satuppali there is a jn penuballi from where line s proposed to Kondapalli. At present KTP gets coal from SCL. As NHAI proposed to develop a new greenfield road from Khammam to KVR bypassing every town it needs to b seen how IR will take forward based on the response of 2 state govts. Route becomes very long. The distance from BZA to NDLS via VSKP, Raipur will be 2,120 kms but the shortest route from BZA to NDLS via WL, NGP, BPL in which all trains to NDLS run will be just 1,750 kms. So, Raj cannot be runned via BZA, VSKP, Raipur.
