This route will be useful for IT Professionals to travel from South Kolkata (Parnasaree, Taratala, New Alipore, Tollygunje, Bansdroni, New Garia, etc.) to satellite townships' IT Hubs like Salt Lake Sector - 5 and Rajarhat New Town Action Area - 1, 2 and probably 3 too.

Recent news reports suggest that Infosys is interested to set up its Kolkata Campus in New Town Action Area 3 plot. At the moment, there's only 1 AC Bus of Route AC4A run by the WBTC (CSTC Wing) that connects South Kolkata's Parnasree to Sapoorji Estate in Action Area - 3. But this...

last Sapoorji Bus Terminal also seems to be quite distant from the Chotto Chandpur Area where Infosys may set up its building. At the moment, the transport connectivity between New Town's Action Areas and South Kolkata is very poor !!!
