If the railways actually go through with connecting this stretch, there could be some mad benefits like: 1. We'd have a straight-up bypass from Kharagpur (West Bengal) to Odisha and North India, no detours needed. 2. Baripada, a legit important city in Odisha, would finally get some decent train connections. This would also boost development in the neglected regions of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha. 1. Kharagpur (West Bengal) ka complete bypass chalu ho jayega, Odisha se North India jane waale logon ke liye.
2. Odisha ki ek important city, Baripada, ko behtar train connectivity milegi, aur is tarah Odisha ke Mayurbhanj district ke backward regions ka vikas aur mauka badhega.

The Bhubaneswar - Bangriposi Intercity SF Express will now go all the way to Puri starting from 15/05/2023. And on top of that, for the next 6 months, they're adding 3 extra stops at Buramara, Kuchai, and Jamsole from 15/05/2023.
