... then departs from AP, bound to Nanjangud Town (NTW) and Chamarajanagar (CMNR).

The train while departing ... suddenly slowed down to zero in front of me, I thought whether is it the case of chain-pulling, eventually the loco gave a long honk and accelerated beautifully, and departed out of AP.

I was lucky enough to spot the Police Bus 4D after quite a long time. I remember it spotting for the first time back in March 2022. It was then newly repainted to Police Bus livery and had another WDP-4D loco trailing as an emergency, as it was under testing.

So, 1 year of Krishnarajapuram's Police Bus livery WDP-4D locos then !!!

Sharing the humming and notching sounds of the EMD locomotive.

... arrives at Ashokapuram (AP) Railway Station in South Mysuru. Then, waits for its clearance to depart further ahead toward Mysuru.

It was a delight to spot a repainted clean machine (a.k.a WDP-4D #40362) with the train. Also, the great advantage of this successful spotting is a long halt of this train at AP for 15-20 mins due to delayed signal clearance.

I had already observed the loco link of the same train from my home when it went to Nanjangud as Train 06300. Henceforth, it was easy to plan and spot it.

Also, I will be sharing the photos of the new modified Train Board (TB). Yes, it shares RSA with Dharwad Express (17301/17302) and Basava Express (17307/17308). Here's the complete updated RSA chain:

The train departs from PF-01 of AP, slowly joins the mainline and accelerates out, towards Nanjangud (NTW) and Chamarajanagar (CMNR)

#20062 WDP-4 is probably the only single cab EMD of Krishnarajapuram (KJM) shed to bear the latest sensation Navy-Blue livery of KJM, also jokingly called as Police Bus livery. Generally Police bus livery was first given to Dual cab WDP-4D locos of KJM shed.

I personally love the police bus livery because, the dark shade on EMD looks beautiful, it also reminds me of some Baaz liveried EMDs of Siliguri loco shed (SGUJ), particularly WDP-4 #20012.

...entering Mysuru city limits, passing near Srinagara Layout area in Mysuru South. With its upcoming halt at Ashokapuram (AP).

Background Story: I first spotted 06300 MYS-NTW Special at around 9 AM from my house at a far distance, I observed that the loco was in original livery and had only a single cab (in LHF). I then immediately informed my Local RFs and train friends about it and planned to set out and spot it when the same train returns back at around 11:30 AM. I set out at 11:15 and finally waited for it. In my mind, it was fixed that it could be a Dual cab WDP-4D. When the train came into the scene, I was surprised, shocked, and tremendously happy. It was an OFF-LINK UBL Original imported EMD #20005 loco in SHF. The train passed very slowly, and slowly accelerated after crossing me. I felt that the train probably slowed down due to some obstacle OR other thing.

But YES !! My long-pending desire to spot a UBL WDP-4 with OG cab was fulfilled !!! That too at a time when some of the good original locomotives of Hubballi have been transferred to Tughlakabad DLS (TKD).
