Where goods trains are loaded with fertilizer bags from a conveyor belt coming from the top where ZACL Zuari Agro Chemical Ltd, Birla Factory located. Railway Line exists here for over 125 years but this station only since mid 70s, mainly created for ZACL. The station name SANKVAL may have been taken from the village SANCOALE (Where Birla Factory located on hilltop, above)

Spectacular view of Ro-Ro (Roll On - Roll Off) train passing on the structural wonder, Zuari river bridge over Konkan Railway route. In this arrangement trucks are loaded on BRN wagons.The driver and cleaner of the truck travel along, sleeping in their truck cabin.
