National Highway 233 - linking Varanasi, Lalganj, Azamgarh, Tanda, Basti, and Lumbini Status - They've started work on the Kotila - Rani Ki Sarai bypass. Big moves! 2. Purvanchal Expressway - connecting Lucknow, Azamgarh, and Ballia Status - They're copping some land and planning to lay the foundation stone in September or October 2016. 3. Varanasi - Lalganj - Azamgarh - Mubarakpur - Dohrighat railway line Status - It's kinda unclear right now, but according to the Dainik Jagran paper, they've started the survey in Varanasi with a badass budget. The survey's gonna be wrapped up soon and they plan to start the work during the Monsoon session. They might even do a sick foundation stone ceremony! On the other hand, Hindustan paper is saying that the survey is gonna start after the monsoon with a budget of 30 lacs. It's gonna take around 4 months to finish up. Meanwhile, Amar Ujala paper is saying that the survey will start after the monsoon and they've got the money for it. They're planning to wrap it up within 3 months. Sarnath (SRNT), Azamgarh (AMH) और Dohrighat (DIT) जंक्शन बन जाएंगे। यह लाइन भी आउनरिहार - जौनपुर रेलवे लाइन से जुड़ेगी। इसलिए Dudhaunda (DDNA) भी जंक्शन बन जाएगा। नयी वाराणसी - लालगंज - आजमगढ़ - मुबारकपुर - दोहरीघाट लाइन से 4 स्टेशन जंक्शन बनने वाले हैं।

Ek aur mauka hai Sarai Rani ke paas...agar line Shankar Pur Checkpost ke baad kahin NH cross karti toh is station ko bhi junction banne ka mauka hai.

Bahut mushkil hai ...almost impossible kyonki NH-233 ke lie naye 4-lane Kotila(Checkpost ke pahle) se Rani Ki Sarai(Sarai Rani) tak bypass ban raha hai aur abhi ka 2-lane road. Is tarah se 2 roads ko cross karna padega. Sarai Rani ke age se cross karenge to sirf 1 road ko cross karna padega.
