Good to see a notification mentioning removal of stoppages due to low patronisation. Very rarely do we get to see this
New MEMU, a passenger train starting from SBC at 1930 takes 2 hours 50 minutes to reach MYS. Just behind at 2010, we have Chennai Mysore SF which takes 3 hours 20 minutes (2330 arrival)!!. One more irony - Kannur/ Karwar normal express leaves at 2030 at SBC and reaches at 2300 MYS overtaking SF.
Implies that SF can be made to reach by 2240, now it sleeps at Pandavapura for one hour.

There should also be a passenger train between SBC-TK around 8PM. After Golgumbaz leaves at 19:00, there is no train till Rani Chennamma at 21:15. Likewise no regular train after JS leaves at 20:00 from TK towards SBC.
A night halt DEMU train leaving YPR at 8pm is in the offing. and leaving TK at 5am. May happen in a few weeks. Further a train towards TK/ASK is badly required from SBC side as there is no train between 9.30 am and 1 pm. I have requested the vedike to pursue this also

Instead of this train they could have extended the ERS-Banaswadi bi weekly at least. Reaches morning at 4am in SBC and it would have been a good connection for people from CBE,ED etc travelling to Mysuru. Also there is suffficient time in Mysuru before its return journey. In case of 16315/16316 there is hardly any time
CAN - ALLP Executive express could be extended to TVC...likewise ERS - BAND biweekly express and the new KCVL - BAND Humsafar Express could be extended to Mysore
I think that they can run the same time of dasara special train
