IR has to be reduced the 3 AC base fares as 3 times of the second class fares not 4 times.Simple AC provision IR demands more fares.
Sleeper class fares are around 2 times of base Second class fares. So 3 times for the 3AC fares over Second class is justified .2 AC fares have to be kept as 4 times of Second class fares.
Then Railway patronages erosion to Airways and IR official friendly Omni bus operators.

So NithiAyok /PM / FM / RM and Board have to be taken the reduced AC fares in Railway so as to increase the patronages.
So much crores are invested in Railway line ,but no tangible passengers patronages increases policy decisions such as effectively utilize the under utilized Railway sections/ Doubled lines / newly converted lines etc.
Nowadays 20 % additional passenger trains / expresses have to be introduced to augment passenger capacities in Railway.
