No no, the train should be introduced (both ways) in such a way that, it should depart Yesvantpur between 11am to 1pm, and it should reach Mumbai next day morning between 6-8. Stoppage should be only main junctions. DMM-GTL-KLBG-SUR-PUNE. This stations have high response to all mumbai trains. Firstly, it should be introduced bi-weekly. After the response, in 3months, it should be made daily. Similar to Howrah duranto.
Route via Hubballi can become shortest, after completion of new Tumakuru-Davanagere line. We have to wait till that time.
No .It will be slightly longer than existing GTL-SUR Route. Also It will be slow due to lot of curves and terrain.
Ideally route via Gtl-Klbg will be faster and quick. Hope railways consider this while introducing, to start with they can introduce a bi-weekly via this route and later on one more via Ubl can be introduced.
