02649 is compensation to Hubli, Dharwad and Alnawar region for loss of Link Express. However, It can re-routed for Wednesdays and Saturdays ( Provided they speed up KSK Clone via Pune)

But Hubli being commercial hub needs one daily connectivity to Delhi.
